OUR STORY

47 Roofing & Construction was founded by Matt Swartz, a former college athlete and roofing expert who saw too many homeowners being taken advantage of by contractors who cared more about profits than people.

Together with a team of friends, Matt has started 47 Roofing with one simple goal - to bring honesty, integrity and professionalism back to the roofing industry. What began as a small way to help people has become a company that has helped many.

Matt's faith has been the cornerstone of that mission from the start. During one of the hardest seasons of his life, he found strength in James 4:7 - "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." That verse, along with the number he wore as a college athlete - #47 became a daily reminder of purpose, perseverance and faith in action.

Today, 47 Roofing & Construction stands as more than a company name - it is a mission to serve Christ, serve people and raise the standard for what roofing would be.

Matt Swartz

Founder & CEO

Matt is a father of two amazing daughters. They are the most important aspect or his life. Matt belleves falth and family always come first! Matt enjoys working out regularly, attending and watching sporting events. Matt has a bachelors of science in mathematics and secondary education from the University of Arkansas and a masters degree in educational leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

James Pulliam

President of Construction

James enjoys working with complex projects at 47 Roofing & Construction that require coordination and attention to detail. He also owns 47 Remodeling. Our sister company that supports 47 Roofing & Construction with all remodeling needs - from small updates to full home renovations.

Christine Kipphut

Insurance Specialist

Christine, our insurance specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive the coverage and compensation for storm related repairs and replacements. Through meticulous attention to detail and effective communication, Christine helps bridge the gap between our clients needs and insurance requirements, guaranteeing a smooth process from start to finish, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, she is dedicated to helping homeowners novate the insurance claim process, alleviating stress and ensuring they get the coverage they deserve.

John Sivak

Roofing Specialist

John Sivak is a husband and father of two. His Favorite thing to do I spend time wIth his klds at their favorite sporting events. John has experience in all insurance processes, exterior remodeling, interior remodeling and residential and commercial roof replacement.

Taylor J. Bivins

Roofing Specialist

Taylor and Lexi Bivins are both roofing specialists tor 47 Roofing and Construction. They often act as a husband and wife power couple to complete our various roofing projects. The Bivins are committed to providing their customers with the best quality of work communication and respect. They pride themselves in their ability to provide their customers with transparency and clear communication from start to finish. Taylor is also hands on and acts as a project manager to ensure all of their clients priorities are met every step of the way. Living in Flower Mound provides them with an excellent opportunity to serve the neighbors in their community.

Connor Bivins

Connor Bivins is a skilled Roofing Specialist at 47 Roofing and Construction in Texas. Originally from Kansas, he holds a degree from Kansas State University and brings hands on expertise to every project. Beyond roofing, he helps oversee construction work with precision and care.   • 47 Roofing and Construction is a great company. They worked with my insurance company to get the roof covered and when the insurance company became difficult, they walked me through negotiations. They did a new roof, new guttering, as well as repairs to the eves of the house, repainted the outside of the house adding an extended porch on the west side as well as new security lights and solar tubes. The final step was some minor touchups. The representative was awesome. On site and running the crews as well as great communication to keep me in the loop. You cannot go wrong with this company!
